⚙️ Setup Options
🎮 Player2 Desktop App
Install the Player2 desktop app and run it in the background. The mod will automatically detect it without needing to copy API keys.
✨ Simple Process
- No API key copy/paste needed
- Just run the app in background
- Automatic detection by the mod
🔑 Manual API Key
Generate a Player2 API key and paste it into the mod settings. Same functionality as the desktop app, just requires copy/paste.
⚙️ When to Use
- Don't want to install the desktop app
- Prefer manual configuration
- Same features, just needs copy/paste
📋 Installation Guide
🎮 Option 1: Desktop App
- Download Sim-p2: Get the enhanced mod
- Install Player2: Download from player2.game
- Run Player2: Login and keep it running in background
- Open Sim-p2 app: Launch the Sim-p2 application
- Go to Settings: Click on the Settings tab in Sim-p2
- Select Player2: Choose "Player2" as AI provider
- Leave API key empty: App will auto-detect running Player2
- Enable & Play: Start The Sims 4 and enjoy!
🔑 Option 2: API Key
- Generate Key: Click "Generate API Key" button above (goes to setup page)
- Complete Auth: Follow authentication in popup window
- Copy Key: Copy your generated API key
- Download Sim-p2: Get the enhanced mod
- Open Sim-p2 app: Launch the Sim-p2 application
- Go to Settings: Click on the Settings tab in Sim-p2
- Select Player2: Choose "Player2" as AI provider
- Paste Key: Paste your API key in the API Key field
- Enable & Play: Start The Sims 4 and enjoy!
