🔒 Privacy & Security
Player2 AI is a trusted platform used in popular mods like:
- AI Influence (Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord)

The bridge executable is open source - you can review the code or compile it yourself. It does NOT log data, share information, or collect telemetry.
📊 The bridge displays local status info only in your browser - nothing is ever sent externally.
🚀 Quick Installation
Step 1: Subscribe on Steam Workshop
Subscribe to the mod to automatically install scripts:
Step 2: Download the Bridge
Download dwarftalk_bridge.exe and place it in your Dwarf Fortress folder:
Place in: Steam/steamapps/common/Dwarf Fortress/
Step 3: Add Keybindings (REQUIRED)
Open Dwarf Fortress/dfhack-config/init/dfhack.init and add:
keybinding add Ctrl-T dwarftalk/chat_window keybinding add Ctrl-Shift-S dwarftalk/settings_window
Step 4: Start Playing!
- Run
dwarftalk_bridge.exe(keep it open) - Start Dwarf Fortress
- Load or create a fortress
- Press Ctrl+T to chat with dwarves!
💡 How to Use
- Ctrl+T - Open conversation window (chat with dwarves or view NPC history)
- Ctrl+Shift+S - Open settings (adjust intervals, frequencies)
- Notifications - Dwarves will seek you out to talk automatically
- Console - Type
dwarftalk/statusto check system status
